Eid Special Chicken Tikka Biryani Recipe
Today I am sharing Eid Special recipe of Chicken Tikka Biryani. In this Chicken is marinated in spicy mix of Yogurt and Spices, to prepare delicious Tikka and finally mixed with Gravy and Long Grained Basmati Rice. Hope u will like my recipe. Do give this a try and share ur experience in comments.
Ingredients
For Chicken Tikka:
Chicken - 750g with bone
Curd or yoghurt - 3 tbsp
Ginger garlic paste - 2 tsp
Oil or butter - 2 tbsp
Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tbsp
Cumin powder - 1 tsp
Garam masala powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric - 1/2 tsp
Black pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
Chaat masala - 1 tsp
Lemon juice - 1 tbsp
Red food colour - 1/4 tsp
Oil - 1/4 cup for shallow frying
For Boiling Rice:
Basmati rice - 750g (soaked for 1 hour )
Water - 4 litre
Cloves - 4
Bay leave - 2
Cinnamon stick - 1 inch
Black cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Oil - 2 tbsp
Vinegar or lemon juice - 1 tbsp
Coriander leaves - 2 tbsp
Mint leaves - 2 tbsp
Salt - 1 tbsp
For Biryani Gravy:
Oil - 1/4 cup
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Black cardamon - 1
Green Cardamon - 3
Cinnamon - 1 inch stick
Bay leave - 2
Black peppercone - 1 tbsp
Ginger garlic paste - 2 tbsp
Green masala paste: 5 green chilli + 2 tbsp coriander leaves + 2 tbsp mint leaves
Tomato - 3
Coriander powder - 2 tbsp
Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
Kashmiri red chilli powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Cumin powder - 1 tsp
Biryani masala - 1 tbsp
Garam masala - 1 tsp
salt - as per taste
Fried onions - 1 cup
Curd or yoghurt - 3/4 cup
Chicken tikka pieces
Water - 1 cup
Charcoal - for giving smoke
Mint leaves - 2 tbsp
Coriander leaves - 2 tbsp
Other Ingredients:
Fried onions - for layering
Mint leaves - 1/4 cup for layering
Coriander leaves - 1/4 cup for layering
Food colour - 1/4 tsp diluted in water
